Well, I'm back
Again, I abandon you journal! It's because I have soooo many other places I go online! Mostly, MySpace!
Well, I'm going to try and use this as my exercise journal again.
My current plan is to do a round of Slim in 6, starting on Saturday, to try to lose the last of this fat that I want to burn. THEN, I want to do a complete round of P90X and try to avoid getting majorly ill! So, those are the plans.
I just got back from Tony Horton's Fitness Camp, and I tell ya... it was a great weekend!
Here's a post I sent out to my support circle on MyBeachbody:
"I just got back from the most wonderful weekend ever! I just attended the Tony Horton Live Chicago camp!
One thing that stuck out this weekend that I wan't to share were those nasty little words "I can't." Tony would have nothing of them. Any time anyone uttered those words he would make them drop and give them 20. Why? Because "I can't" doesn't really exist. Instead, he prefers the phrase "I currently struggle with." On my coaching thread in the past I've mentioned how "I can't" usually means "I don't want to," in regards to the food we put into our mouths or whether or not we decide to workout. The thing is YOU CAN. You just have to do something. If you are struggling with a move that's an even better reason to keep doing it... to improve. I tell you... I learned what I could do this weekend. For the first time ever I cranked out 30 V-up roll-ups (P90X people know what I'm talking about there)... not to mention that I held half moon pose in yoga!!!! I MEAN... c'mon! YOU CAN. I ca! n. We can.
It's in your head and heart and YOU CAN do it. Just try... don't give up. If you get sick, take a break to get a little better, but don't give up... the same things goes if you injure yourself. You can still do something, even if it's just making sure that your on target with your diet.
So, don't let yourself come up with excuses anymore... and anytime you hear yourself muttering "I can't" then drop and give yourself 20!
:-) "
